Amaze is visiting the Bendigo City Library – book your free tickets now!

YOUR INVITATION FROM AMAZE (previously Autism Victoria):

On Tuesday the 25th of August, Amaze is coming to the Bendigo City Library, 259 Hargreaves Street, Bendigo.  We are coming to deliver our donation of autism books and resources, and we would like to invite you to come and meet us. We will be at the library from 1.30pm – 3.00pm.

During our visit, we will host an afternoon information session for the Bendigo autism community to make them aware of our partnership and hear about Amaze’s future plans to support the Victorian autism community. Our CEO Fiona Sharkie, our peer support group project coordinator, Pamela Gatos and Maria Moren our librarian, will be visiting to better understand the needs of our community.

Pamela is responsible for a new project focussed on education and training for peer support group leaders on information about, and preparing for, the National Disability Insurance Scheme which will roll out across Australia within the next 2 years.

The information session will include:

  • a presentation by our CEO Fiona Sharkie about Amaze and our strategic goals
  • our film Spectrospective
  • afternoon tea with the opportunity to speak to Fiona Sharkie, the librarian about autism spectrum resources, as well as our peer support group project coordinator.
